We are Pure Vehicle Leasing Ltd, company number 9830432 our registered office is at 38 High Street Watton Norfolk IP25 6AE, (‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’). We take the privacy of our customers very seriously. We ask that you read this Privacy Policy (‘the Policy’) carefully as it contains important information about how we will use your personal data.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act (‘DPA’), we are the ‘Data Controller’ (i.e. the company who is responsible for, and controls the processing of, your personal data).

This policy was last updated May 22nd, 2018 in line with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that will take effect from 25th May 2018. As a credit intermediary, we undertake a number of financial tasks that relate to consumer credit and our firm’s lawful basis for processing your personal data is done so under a “legitimate interest”.

The Personal Data We may collect and process

In order to enter into a brokerage agreement with Pure Vehicle Leasing we will collect store and use certain elements of your personal data. The processing of this data is a contractual requirement and is necessary in order to administer your account and provide you with the products and services you have requested. If you submit an online enquiry you will be required to agree to the terms of this privacy policy which will include permitting us to contact you for the purpose of the finance related enquiry via the contact method you provided to us, i.e. email, telephone etc.

When using Pure Vehicle Leasing Brokerage services, we will usually require you to disclose to us the following:

Title
Fist name(s) along with surname and or company name
Your full address along with previous address (subject to finance requirement)
Email address
Employment details
Date of birth
Telephone number - mobile or land line
Financial details relevant to your application including income and expenditure
Bank details including account number, card number and account holder

Any sensitive personal data obtained and recorded will only be done so with your explicit consent.

How We use personal data

We (Pure Vehicle Leasing Ltd) take your privacy seriously and the data you have provided that we hold is confidential, on occasions we may disclose personal data which you have provided:

our agents and service providers (e.g. potential funders or maintenance providers)

Credit reference agencies (for the purpose of your vehicle finance)
The finance provider (generation of a specific finance agreement)
The supplier dealer group (to order/deliver a vehicle)

Monitoring

We may monitor and record communications with you (such as telephone conversations and emails) for the purpose of quality assurance, training, fraud prevention or compliance purposes.

Protecting your privacy

We currently safeguard personal data via our chosen CRM system which is password protected, this is via a specialist 3rd party provider “Pipedrive” if you require further details relating to our chosen CRM please contact us via email or post. Whilst we use all reasonable efforts to safeguard your personal data, you acknowledge that use of the internet is not entirely secure and for this reason we can not 100% guarantee that the security or integrity of personal data transferred to you or from you via the internet.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data which we process. This request is known as a “Subject Access Request” This information is provided free of charge however we can refuse to respond or charge a reasonable fee for the administrative cost if the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
